I just finished watching
Lady in the Water. This movie... I honestly can't even describe it. To me it just seemed like more of a work of art than a movie. It reminds me of being back in Senior 4 English class. We read the book Lord of the Flies (even though it is nothing like this movie), and the author (William Golding) often created more suspense by
not describing what is happening, sort of how they kill Simon. This movie does the same thing. Either simply not showing you in full detail what's going on or by having some crazy camera angle (I loved the camera angles in this movie [especially the end {oh yeah!}]). It's one of the most original movies I've ever seen and I really don't even know what TYPE of movie I would say it was. It had comedy, suspense, horror, and fiction, but I wouldn't be able to put it into any of those categories. But with that said, I don't think there are many people that would appreciate it as the plot and the story weren't that great and it lacked any form of action. I think Bahb would. Bahb, watch this movie. k lataz
